The consulting firm of J. E. Arthur & Associates, Inc. is named for Jim Arthur, who was on the staff since shortly after the firm was organized in 1957 and served as President from 1978 through 2006. His successor, Eric Otte, joined the firm in 1996, and was named President and CEO in January, 2007.

While remaining small by choice, the firm has a proven track record of experience covering a wide range of civil engineering and land surveying services. Clients include area municipalities and sanitary districts, land developers, industries and private parties. Special importance is placed on personal, individualized supervision for each project, large or small.
