Job Title: Engineering/Land Survey Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Engineering/Land Survey Technician to support our engineering and surveying staff in the data gathering, design, and execution of land development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting field surveys, preparing technical drawings, and analyzing data to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting land surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to support engineering and construction projects.
  • Prepare and update CAD drawings, maps, and other technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Assist in preparing reports, plats, and legal descriptions for land parcels.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in land surveying or engineering support preferred, but willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office a plus.
  • Familiarity with GPS and total station equipment.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
